In brief my life until I met Tony in 1998 is I was born on 15th May 1942 to Dorothy & Stuart Walsh. Their one and only child!
Raised initially in Stalybridge, and then due to my mother’s health, moved to North Wales where I spent my schooling years at Loreto Convent in Llandudno.
Moved back to Hyde near Manchester after obtaining Seven GCEs and then attended Miss Wilkinson’s Secretarial College for young gentlewomen where I obtained exams in Book-keeping, shorthand and typing.
Before leaving home I worked as secretary to the General Manager of a large departmental store in Manchester.
Moved to London at eighteen
I met and married Tom, who lived in a flat above one I shared with two girlfriends. He was sharing with two friends from The Royal College of Art – one of them being Ridley Scott the now-famous film Director
We moved to Barnes where I ran Prospect Studios and met The Beatles.
Tom was working as an Art Director in Publishing
Later after living in Richmond we moved to Twickenham where in 1966 we had David and in 1968 Luke, our two super sons.
During this time I studied teaching at Maria Grey Teaching College but decided teaching was not for me and in 1973 took a job with West Products which fitted in very well with bringing up the boys. We moved to East Molesey and owned three houses.
There sadly our marriage ended with divorce in 1992
