Diana, together with John Rosie came to see us in Spain in April 2013, when John asked for permission to marry Diana
How respectful of the old custom. I said, ‘Let me think about it overnight.’
No, I didn’t. Who wouldn’t want John as a son-in-law?
And so on the 5th of October 2013, the very big day – Diana’s wedding to John.

In September 2015, John and Diana came again and shared a paella with Dominique
In April 2016 Diana came out alone to see the Spanish family who had looked after the house that Valerie had owned for many years. So she met Maria Louisa and Emilio her son and talk about her book about Maria Louisa’s husband Pascual. Her novel was about him and initially called Pascual’s Lost Birthday, but MacMillan’s said Pascual sounded French!! So they changed it to Alberto’s. What a shame. Also, we had a meal with Maria Teresa, through who we met the Spanish family back in the early 1970s.
Harley joined the family and the began visits to see us in Spain in 2017 2018 2019
But the Covid virus meant 2020 was cancelled.
But thankfully they came back in 2021 and brought a little girl called Elsie with them.and we were so pleased to welcome them back in 2022 , 2023
John had a dredful accident in January 2024 when he fell off a shed and broke both wrists and an eye socket. Here’s proof!
The family came out in March but he was still suffering with his wrists and hands, and it will be a long recovery period However here are the photos of their 2024 holiday.

And of course there are are photos of of us being with the Rosie family at the bottom of our UK Holidays link. We visited them in 2016, in both. February and December in 2017 and then meeting Elsie in October 2019.
